Registration of Railroad-Professional
As long as you haven't registered Railroad-Professional, the free version will run (see note on the download page).
After registering and paying the license fee, you will receive a registration key from us by email, which you can enter directly in the program.
This unlocks Railroad Professional, i.e. the free version is switched to the full version. A new installation is not necessary. The one-off license fee*) is:

- A Registration key for version 4. This switches the free version to the full version and track plans of any complexity can be created.
- Free updates / improvements of the actual version 4. Railroad-Professional automatically informs you about available updates and lets you choose whether you want to install them or not.
- Free version upgrade to all future 4.x versions.
- The license entitles you to operate on several computers, provided you are the user yourself (so-called personal license model). For this, we will be happy to provide you with additional, suitable registration keys free of charge.
- Free, fast email service for all questions about the program. We usually respond within hours - either in German or English.
- Transfer the registration fee. To do this, click on one of the icons above, depending on the currency and payment system you want to use to make your payment, and follow the on-screen instructions.
- If not already done: Install Railroad-Professional on your computer.
- Connect to the Internet and start the program. In the program, call up the registration form via the menu item 'Help', fill out and submit it.
- You will then receive two automatically generated confirmation emails, which you please read and note! Please also check your spam folder for our emails, as they can sometimes end up there.
- Once we have received the registration fee and the completed registration form, we will send you your registration key by email, which you can enter directly into the program.
Note:
You may also fill out the registration form in the program first and then make the payment. The order doesn't matter.
Important:
We will send all information to the email address you entered into the registration form.
It is therefore essential that you check this before submitting the form.
If you do not find our automatic confirmation emails in your mailbox within a few minutes, please also check your spam folder!

- The respective license fee is to be paid only once and represents a personal license for the current version (at the time of payment). No annual fee, abonement, or similar.
- The license fees for the current version authorize you to a free upgrade to all future versions 4.x!
- If you are an existing customer, i.e. a licensed customer of one of the older previous versions,
we offer you the following discounted upgrade fees for upgrading to the current version:
For buyers of the versions 3.x : 19,95 Euro *)
For buyers of older versions : Full price - *) The upgrade is free for buyers who paid for version 3.x on or after 10/01/2023. In this case, enter the note 'free upgrade' in the message field of the registration form.
- Existing customers receive the current license in the same way as described above under "How to get your license". Depending on the payment method, you can either use one of the links for upgrader or send the upgrade fee by bank transfer.
